Start the Morning in Silence for Greater Clarity

Once you wake up, there will be many things that demands your attention. It could be text messages and emails from across the world. The content of those messages would set the tone for your day. If your first emotion of the day is anger, you could carry it throughout the day, affecting your relationships, your team and your business. Hence, the first thing you need to do is to give yourself some silence. In silence, you allow calmness to your psyche. Calmness gives you control over what you receive, and optimizes your responses. Continuous optimal decision making will make certain that you are always moving in the right direction every day.


Make truthful affirmations

Take the morning to centre yourself in reality. If you are struggling to make change, affirm to yourself your commitment to the change. Remind yourself why do you make that commitment. Be specific with the activities that you are going to do. Keep When are you going to implement those activities?


Visualize your future

Visualize yourself committing the activities you affirmed yourself. Visualization makes you mentally prepared to perform. It also helps you understand deep within your psyche what you are going to do, and it also understand what you need to do so everything goes smoothly as planned.
